My first Reading Series- Pete the Cat

Part of HarperCollins' My First I Can Read series, the Pete the Cat books by James Dean follow his laid-back, ever-upbeat blue cat through everyday adventures — a day at the beach, a new pet, a ball game — always meeting mishaps with his trademark calm. Extra-large type, short repeated sentences and Pete's signature groovy illustrations make this an ideal first read-aloud-then-read-alone book for children just starting their independent reading journey.
