An introductory phonics workbook from Prachi Publications, one of India's longest-running educational publishers. Book 1 covers all 26 single letter sounds in the standard s, a, t, i, p, n sequence — the same order used in most UK and international synthetic-phonics programmes.
Each letter gets a full spread: a picture cue for the sound, tracing practice for the letter shape, and a short matching activity. The book is designed for school use but works equally well at home with ten minutes a day.
Best for ages 3–5 (Nursery / KG). Sequel Prachi Phonics 2 introduces cursive writing alongside the next set of sounds.
