The third and final book in the series covers the remaining letter sounds — f, l, j, v, w, x, y, z, qu — plus the first set of consonant digraphs (sh, ch, th, ng) where two letters make one sound.
By this stage children are reading short sentences, not just isolated words. The exercises move from single-sound practice into proper decoding of CVC and CVCC words, with picture prompts to keep the reading meaningful.
Best for ages 4–5 (KG) who have finished Books 1 and 2. After Book 3 your child should be ready for early decodable readers — the Cambridge Reading Adventures Yellow or Blue Band, or our own classroom material.
