Having Fun with Phonics-Working with sounds 4

Book 4 of the Having Fun with Phonics series — the bridge between single-sound work and proper word-level reading. The focus is on the remaining single letter sounds and the introduction of the first short-vowel CVC patterns.

Each spread targets one sound or pattern, with picture cues, writing lines and short blending exercises. By the end of the book children should be reading short three-letter words on their own and recognising them in simple sentences.

Best for ages 4–6 (KG) who have completed earlier levels of the series or an equivalent introduction to letter sounds.
