Busy Bee Phonic Reader Part B (Ages 5–6)

Part B of the Busy Bee Phonic Reader series, written for children who have finished initial sound work and are ready for blended CVC and CCVC words. The reader uses short, illustrated passages built around target sound groups — long vowels, consonant blends, and common digraphs.

The format is a workbook-reader hybrid: each page has a short text to read aloud, followed by a comprehension or sound-spotting exercise. This dual structure means the book doubles as both reading practice and writing practice.

Best for ages 5–6 (KG / Grade 1) who have completed Part A or an equivalent first-sounds programme.
