The focus is on hearing and producing all 26 letter sounds from a to z, distinguishing capital letters from small letters, and beginning to associate sounds with familiar objects. The format is gentle and repetitive on purpose: children at this stage learn through hearing the same sound many times across many contexts.
Best for ages 3–4 (Pre-Nursery / Nursery). No prior phonics knowledge needed — this is often the very first phonics book a child uses.
