Information we collect
- Details you give us — name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, delivery address, and your child’s age or reading stage when you place an order, book a Demo Class, or contact us.
- Order & payment information — items purchased and payment status. Card/UPI payments are processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
- Automatic information — basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.
How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders and send order updates.
- To schedule, run and follow up on class bookings and Demo Classes.
- To respond to your enquiries by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To send you newsletters and offers if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To improve our website, catalogue and services.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. We use Google (Analytics/Search Console) and conversion-tracking tools for aggregated insights. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business — for example our payment gateway (Razorpay), shipping and order-tracking partners (e.g. AfterShip), email/marketing tools (Mailchimp), and communication tools such as WhatsApp and Zoom for classes. Children’s information
Our customers are parents, guardians and educators — we do not market or sell to children directly. When you book a class or use our Book Finder, you may share limited details about your child (such as first name, age or reading stage) so we can place them in the right group or recommend suitable books. That information is provided by you, the adult, and is used only for that purpose. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and we do not use children’s information for advertising or behavioural tracking.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
